Below are the questions we are most regularly asked and the answers to them. Hopefully you will find what you are looking for. If you don't please don't hesitate to contact us.

 

 

Wedding Stationery

Is there a minimum quantity required to order?

No. You can order as many or a little as you need. Items are priced individually.

Do we have to pay for a consultation?

No. Consultations are completely free and there is no obligation to order anything.

Do we have to pay for samples?

During your consultation we will discuss ideas and I will give you a price for the designs you like. If you would like to go ahead and proceed to the sampling stage I will take a £50 fee. If you go on to place an order this fee will be deducted from the deposit you pay to secure the order. The fee can be paid during the consultation by card or cash or afterwards by bank transfer.

Can you incorporate our theme?

Absolutely! The beauty of Handmade By Gemma stationery is it it a fully bespoke service and tailored to match your wedding theme.

 

Where are consultations held?

Consultations are all held in the Handmade By Gemma Studio which can be found within the Balloons For U shop at 149 Pack Lane, Basingstoke, RG22 5HN. There is ample parking outside the shop or behind the shop in Stratton Park.

 

What times do you offer consultations?

Consultations are offered on weekdays, Evenings and Saturday Mornings. Consultations are subject to availability.

 

Do we pay a deposit?

A 50% deposit is taken when you place an order. The balance is due before or on collection of the order.

 

Can we order extra invitations?

Yes but please bear in mind during busy periods there may be a wait.

 

How long before our wedding shall we see you?

I usually suggest first meeting around a year before the wedding at the earliest.

 

How long do orders take to make?

The usual wait time for an order is approximately 3-4 weeks but during peak seasons this can be up to 6 weeks.

 

Do you exhibit at Wedding Fayres?

Yes, please see the events page for any upcoming events Handmade By Gemma will be attending.

 

 

Greetings Cards and Gifts

Can I personalise a card?

Yes, many of the designs are already customisable and labelled with a ‘Personalise Me’ banner. If you want another design changed slightly please contact us to discuss this.

Can you design something different for me?

Yes, if you have a special card in mind please contact us to discuss this.

How long will it take to get my order?

Orders are dispatched within 3-5 working days. They are sent 2nd Class Royal Mail which estimate to be delivered within 2-3 day of dispatch.

 

How much is delivery?

Standard delivery is £1.95 across the website but during the Covid-19 pandemic Handmade By Gemma is offering is free delivery on all orders.

 

Can I become a stockist?

I would love to talk to you if you’d like to stock Handmade By Gemma cards and gifts. Please contact us to discuss this.

 

Do you offer bulk discount?

If you want a particular item in large volume or want a large bespoke order made we will be able to offer a discount. Please contact us to discuss this.
